Ala Amazing Race in Hongkong

We went to Hongkong last year and it was a blast! Specially during our first night, as our group (together with mom, dad, aunt, uncle, cousins and friends) got lost in the streets and subway of Hongkong.

Starting from the airport, down to our room on our reserved hostel took us more than 2 hours before we finally rest on our beds hee hee. But its all worth it. I treat it as an adventure on a foreign land.

Actually, the lost issue was still ongoing all along our stay in Hongkong! hee hee

Sean Kirk tries Bungee Trampoline and Bull Ride

Together with my parents that night at SM Marikina. I tried two different rides for the first time. First is the bungee trampoline which I really really don't like because I got dizzy with heights and almost lost my temper with the operator because he's the one that's making it higher hee hee.

The second was the bull ride which I enjoyed riding with my dad. Although we fall, still we had lots of fun riding it. Too bad, my mom hasn't been able to capture my dad's ride coz he fall in a nasty way haha!

Twice Hospitalized

I was twice confined at the hospital as of this post. First was last last October, because of throat infection, just a few days before we go to Hongkong! So my mom was the one panicking because I may not be able to come with her. Good thing the doctor gave the go signal to let me go a day before the flight hee hee.

Then the next was just right after my birthday this November, due to severe cough because of my stubbornness to place my back in front of an aircon or electric fan whenever I'm sweating. My doctor says its very very bad. Anybody can easily get coughs and colds or worst pneumonia by doing that. Now I know that my parents are right about it hee hee.

Following Dad's Footsteps

This was taken last March 29, 2011 during our Recognition Day at our school. Unfortunately, I didn't have any awards to give to my parents. Awww! Although, I think I made them happy with my performance on our dance/singing number. (that's what I thought! hee hee)

What made me more happier that day (beside being with my crush Trisha) is when my Dad let me tinker with his camera and actually let me do some on-the-spot shooting with my classmates!

Spending 2011 New Year in Pagsanjan

We were not actually there during the fireworks, but after, or January 1 , 2011 to be exact hee hee. Together with my cousins Aji and Ada (and Mom). We spend long hours in the swimming pool of Pagsanjan Lodge and Summer Resort.

Its my 7th Birthday - Part II

This happened 3 days after my exact birthday. I really had no idea that they would still make out a party for me since we already dine-out. It was really a surprise party for me!

My mom organized a Pajama Party that night. She invited my cousins and other kids for a sleep-over at our place, and for a fun night of parlor games, movie watching and hotdog grilling.

My dad, the culprit for bringing me to McDonalds for a Value Meal while he surf on his laptop for more than an hour. I was very eager to go home so I asked dad that we go home right away as its getting boring slurping the gravy hee hee.

My dad says "ok i'm just waiting for a text message from a friend, then we'll go home". Not knowing that he was just merely waiting for my mom's go signal that the venue is ready and we need to go home to start the surprise party of mine.

Within minutes we were at the gate of our house. Its so dark, no lights inside and outside the house. My mom met us infront while I sobbed and say "Mommy!!! Dad don't wanna go home quick!! wahh!"! After a few steps inside our dark garage, the whole place lighted-up! And to my surprise, there were kids all around cheering and greeting me a happy birthday!!! There were also balloons everywhere and a tarpaulin with my photos with some birthday message.

I'm so happy with my 7th party!!! The whole house is full of kids sleeping. I myself slept at around 2Am., and we still have games in the morning hee hee!!!

Its my 7th Birthday - Part I

I was blessed to have a two part celebration! Actually, its a 2-night celebration! The first one was on the exact date of my birthday, and that's November 10. We (grandma, mom n dad, aunt n uncles, and 3 of my first cousins - Aji, Ada and Cyrus) went out to a nearby restaurant for a casual dinner.

No balloons or kid games whatsoever. Just plain chit-chat of the oldies and the wackiness of me and my cousins. But of course, my favorite, the opening of gifts!

Mom handed me a paper bag full of stuffs. "This is our gift to you! Open it." she said. All of them watched (my dad was even took videos) as I pulled one by one what's inside the bag.

The first one was a t-shirt, then the second was a pair of Ben 10 pajamas (my fav cartoon). You can definitely see the excitement on my face as I slowly revealed the items on the bag. Then at the bottom....tantananannnnnn!!!! Its a PSP Case!!! I've been urging my mom for so long for this toy, and yes finally!!!

Then mom instruct me to open the PSP case and try it. So I hurriedly unzipped it and TADA!!!! There's no PSP module inside but just 2 packs of chocolates, wahhhh! I've been set-up! This is so embarassing wahhh!

But its ok, coz mom told me again and again and again that she can't buy me a PSP for my birthday because of financial reason, maybe next year she said. Then as all them were teasing me for not having the real thing, mom suddenly handed me a spanking blue PSP from her back! Yippeee!

And yes, all my emotions were captured that night on video haha! Thanks mom n dad! I love you!

Me and my dad spend a drizzling Sunday morning at the circuit racetrack inside the Ynares Center in Antipolo City. We thought the race wouldn't push through, but because the adrenalin rush of the team, the organizers and most of all the riders, who are all very eager to race that day, the event went on even rain falls from time to time.

My dad enjoys shooting photos of the riders on the track, while I was excited watching the race, most specially the pocketbike category. Where kids like me were the main contenders! I wish someday I could race too! hee hee

He was given by my dad's friend. They said he was born with a mixed breed. His mother was an Askal while his dad was a Golden Retriever. Anyway, he still looks cute to me! With a pair of lonely eyes and pink dotted nose. I hope we'll get along together really well. By the way, I've name him BOLT. Yes, from the Disney movie of the same title. I hope he grow as strong as the dog in the movie hee hee.

Swimming Lesson this Summer

My mom enrolled me on a 10-day swimming lesson at a nearby swimming pool in our village and its my last day yesterday. My teacher was successful in teaching (a stubborn kid) me the basics in swimming. I can now do dog-paddle and arm pulling fast and lenghty too hee hee. I can also do a decent (no more tummy first) dive on the deep section of the pool. (teacher must be there too, just in case hee hee) coz Im still nervous haha! And lastly, floating on my back!

Maybe the next time, I can improve my swimming skills better. At least for now, I know the basics. My only problem now is when will I get my fair skin back wahhhh!

Im an avid fan of FMX on television as you can see on my pose, am doing a "Superman Air" on board a MotoGP replica motorcycle at the Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall"World of Fun".

Its actually a ride at the arcade where I got to race virtually using the replica bike. Unfortunately, Im so small to fully reach the throttle and to swing the bike left and right in order to maneuver it. So my dad helped me by managing the throttle as I do the leaning stuff. Enjoy the video. hee hee.

BTW me my dad would love to have this video as an entry to any funny video contest. So in any case you got any suggested sites, please let us know.

As Sean Kirk's dad, I'm raving to promote this website of SK. Not because of anything, but purely because I'm proud of it. Since the saying "you just can't please anybody" I got this as an opinion from one member of the blogosphere:

Hmmm.. I feel that this is 'kinda' exploiting the child just to gain some attention. Maybe it would be better if it would be incorporated on the blog of this child's parents. I know there are a lot of blogs like this out there but in a way, 'the child is being used here for monetary purposes' (because ads are all over the site and there's a donate button).

Just an opinion. Never the less, it would still be up to the parents view if this is not an 'exploitation' just like the way I see it.

From which my reply was:

Thanks for your opinion Sir, and I'm sorry that you see it that way. I just want my kid - Sean Kirk to be like us (bloggers). Not right now but when the time he can develop and assume his blog all by himself, he would be surprised its already established. Similar to SEO style or Name Building. Having a popular name has its edge isn't it? I was actually aiming for seankirk.com but unfortunately it was taken already.

As for the ads. Yes it has ads all-over the site. Its because its an adsense blog template for blogspot. And for the donate button, I think its only been there for 3 days? How I wish someone would donate hehe. Sean Kirk would be happy for sure!

You may also notice that there isn't any links to us parents. Its because we want it that way. For the blog to be on his own. Well he can put us anytime on his blogroll when the time comes. Have a nice day.

I drove my dad's motorbike

Got me two kiddie trike when I was 2 years old
(one was the retro style all-steel and the other one was an all-plastic battery powered trike)

Then a stand-up scooter when I was 3 yrs old
(this is where I learned the art of balancing hee hee)

Then I got a spanking new bicycle as a late Christmas present (coz I got it on January hee hee)
I've used it with training wheels for about 6 months, then release one training wheel after 4 months before I finally have the guts to totally remove it.

Just a few days ago (by the way I'm 5 years old now) my dad gave me some first hand knowledge on driving the real thing. A motorized bike - a Yamaha Mio scooter.

Since Im still quite small to drive it by myself. He let me stand up in front of him, then place my right hand on the accelerator grip, side-by-side with his hand. He said its for me to familiarize how to grip it firmly and know the way to gas it up properly.

Within minutes of my short tutorial I was finally driving the scooter, with my dad as my backrider. He's there to guide and support me just in case something went wayward or before I decided to race with tricycles on the street hee hee.

My first rock concert

I got an electronic toy guitar as a present on my 2nd birthday. Then one day, I dunno but out of the blue I instantly transformed into a rockstar infront of my dad who was reading a magazine that moment. Good thing his trusty camera is just beside him (again) to capture my first rock concert heehee. Take note how I make use of the umbrella handle as my microphone heehee.

In case you like my naughty image header above, it was custom made by my dad. He finds it very funny to see me pooping with my bike helmet still on my head. I was actually in a hurry that I forgot to remove it lol. He then gushed inside with a camera and captured that (embarrassing) moment toinkz!
